As a member you can participate in our general body assembly and the election of board administrators. Your support will assist rural communities in India by improving their living conditions, and is a genuine gesture of solidarity and commitment in bringing about positive change in the world. Your gift, either in time or money, becomes an instrument for social change in support of tangible projects that matter to you.

How are your donations spent?
SOPAR manages its funds in accordance with a strict code of ethics and is fully accountable for the use of donor’s funds. The administrative expenses of the organization are maintained at less than 5%. The balance is devoted entirely to development programs India. Indian communities that we work with are more than recipients of help, they directly contribute to projects with their hard earned money and time. The receiving Indian communities also play an active role in supporting the most vulnerable individuals in their communities such as the disabled, elderly and orphans.
